Board of Directors

Allied Grape Growers is governed by a seven member Board of Directors that is elected from various regions of the state, as defined by our By-laws. Representation on the Board is proportional to the regional membership allocation, which currently places two (2) representatives from Coastal regions, one (1) from the Northern interior, and four (4) from the Central Valley.

Elected directors serve three-year terms. Within 90 days of expiration of an elected director’s term, nominations for the upcoming open seat are made by members in their respective districts at the association’s district meetings, or by mail. After nominations are closed, the nominated grower-members are voted upon by mail prior to the annual meeting in June, or by the casting of ballots at the annual meeting.
